OUR Packhouses

At Endulini Fruit we not only grow the finest quality fruit, but pack and export it too. Our full end-to-end service means that we can guarantee the freshest, highest-quality, and best tasting fruit in the marketplace.


Every year we process millions of fresh citrus fruits in our packhouses. Post-harvest cold chain management begins from the moment the fruit is picked from the tree. It is the key objective of management to ensure the fruit is collected swiftly from the orchard and delivered for grading and packing within a short period.


By implementing state-of-the-art equipment and expertise, the fruit is sorted, graded and packed according to specific market or customer specifications. All packaging carries the relevant information to ensure that the fruit can be traced back to its origin. The fruit then enters the cold chain to be optimally managed through to its destination.

Technology and Traceability

Over the years, we have invested in state-of-the-art, non-invasive, high-speed optical technologies to select the highest quality of oranges. Our facilities were designed and equipped with the latest technology to fulfil our clients’ expectations and meet national and international quality and safety standards.

Customer experience has always been our top priority. Our packhouse employees receive extensive, ongoing training in good manufacturing practices to ensure that only safe, high-quality fruit leaves our facilities.

Attention to detail ensures that your fruit is carefully and efficiently handled throughout the supply chain. Our packhouses were designed to facilitate the latest technology in order to fulfil our client’s expectations and meet national and international quality and safety standards.

The packing season kicks off at the end of March and lasts until mid-October. During the season, up to 800 tons of fruit are handled daily. Fruit that doesn’t adhere to Endulini’s strict international export standards is sent to local markets, or to a juicing factory.

Our fruit undergoes multiple tests at our packhouses. We have an on-site testing laboratory and PPECB inspectors are always on site during the packing season to ensure that the required standards are met. Along the supply chain we continuously aim to improve our processes to ensure we meet our customer expectations and supply optimal quality.

Full product traceability starts in the orchard, where we have systems in place that can trace every fruit from tree to table, and our dedicated and highly qualified Quality Assurance Team are present at the packing of all products.
